Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. has completed construction of the Hitachi LNG terminal and has started operations. In addition, Tokyo Gas has begun use of “Ibaraki-Tochigi Line”, a newly constructed high pressure trunk line. Hitachi LNG terminal is Tokyo Gas’ first LNG terminal located outside Tokyo Bay.The terminal comprises one 230,000 m3 LNG storage tank. Tokyo Gas plans to construct a second LNG storage tank in Hitachi by 2020.
