Join us and take full advantage of benefits in the global LNG community.
‍GIIGNL offers two levels of membership, based on the company’s activities in the LNG value chain.

Full Membership
To qualify as a Full Member, a company should either:
1) Own or operate a regasification terminal,
2) Or, be an LNG importer with long term regasification capacity and:
- either hold long term supply contracts (5 years min),
- or, having purchased at least 10 LNG cargoes per year over a period of at least three consecutive years.

Associate Membership
Associate membership requirements are:
1) Own or operate a future regasification terminal (FID taken and authorization granted),
2) Or, be an LNG importer with long term regasification capacity and:
- either hold long term supply contracts (5 years min),
- or, having purchased at least 3 LNG cargoes per year.
The specific requirements for membership are detailed in the most recent version of the GIIGNL ByLaws.

Membership Representation
‍Each GIIGNL member—whether Full or Associate—may designate up to two representatives.
These representatives will be invited to attend the General Assembly Meeting, which is held annually in the fall.

Annual Membership Fees
Full Member: €14000 per company
Associate Member: €13000 per company

How to apply to GIIGNL?
We invite you to complete the online application form.
Once your form submitted, the Executive Committee will review your qualifications based on Article 5 of the ByLaws.
If your application meets the criteria, it will be presented for approval at the next General Assembly.
