Brunei LNG seals long-term SPA with Japex

Brunei LNG signed a long-term LNG SPA with Japex, reinforcing its supply relationship with Japan. No volumes, duration or start date were disclosed. The deal follows the start of Brunei LNG’s partnership with Japex in 2023, when a cargo was delivered to the Soma LNG terminal. Brunei LNG operates the 6.7 mtpa Lumut plant, backed by the Brunei government, Shell and Mitsubishi.
