Cai Mep LNG Terminal Starts Gas Deliveries to Phu My Power Complex

AG&P LNG has started delivering regasified natural gas from Vietnam's Cai Mep LNG terminal to the 900 MW Phu My 2.1 and 2.1E power plants operated by EVNGENCO3. The first gas sendout follows the completion of commissioning of the Cai Mep–Phu My gas pipeline and gas distribution station, connecting the terminal to the 4 GW Phu My power complex. The deliveries, made under a gas sale agreement covering the commissioning and reliability-testing phases, mark the integration of the LNG terminal, pipeline and power plants ahead of long-term commercial operations.
