Cedar LNG Receives Approval to Increase Project Capacity

Cedar LNG has received approval from British Columbia's Environmental Assessment Office to increase the capacity of its floating LNG project in Kitimat. The amended environmental assessment certificate allows the project to increase liquefaction capacity from 400 million to 500 million standard cubic feet of natural gas per day and accommodate up to 80 workers on the floating LNG facility. The changes remain subject to additional approvals under Canada's Impact Assessment Act and from the BC Energy Regulator.
