Cheniere says fifth Corpus Christi expansion train delivers first LNG

Cheniere produced first LNG from Train 5 of the Corpus Christi Stage 3 expansion in February 2026, with the remaining trains expected to reach substantial completion later in 2026, as the project progresses ahead of schedule and was 95% complete by end-January. The Stage 3 project includes seven midscale trains (~1.49 mtpa each) and will contribute to lifting Corpus Christi’s total liquefaction capacity to over 30 mtpa later this decade.
