China’s CNOOC hits new LNG bunkering milestone

CNOOC’s LNG bunkering vessel Hai Yang Shi You 302 has refueled MSC’s LNG-powered MSC Emilia at Ningbo Zhoushan’s Chuanshan Port, pushing CNOOC Gas & Power’s LNG bunkering volume past 200,000 tons in 2025, 3.6 times the total volume achieved in 2024. CNOOC says it has now established 25 LNG bunkering stations across China’s coastline, the Pearl River, the Yangtze River, and the Beijing–Hangzhou Canal.
