Commonwealth LNG, Aramco seal 20-year SPA

Commonwealth LNG, backed by Kimmeridge, has signed a 20-year SPA with Aramco Trading to supply 1 mtpa from its planned 9.5 mtpa export terminal in Louisiana. The agreement follows a preliminary deal signed in November 2025 and will become effective after a FID. Aramco joins other buyers including Glencore, Jera, Petronas, Mercuria, and EQT, with 7 mtpa already contracted under long-term deals. The project is progressing toward FID, with key purchase orders issued through EPC contractor Technip Energies.
