Cook Inlet LNG plans Alaska FSRU project

Cook Inlet LNG, a subsidiary of Louisiana-based Gardes Holdings, plans to install a FSRU in Alaska’s Cook Inlet to address projected gas shortages in Southcentral Alaska. The project, developed with Glacier Oil & Gas, will use an FSRU moored to the existing Osprey platform, leveraging current infrastructure and supplying up to 22 bcf of gas per year, with minimal new construction. First gas is expected in mid-2029, with LNG cargo deliveries every 30–45 days in winter, and the project is privately funded pending regulatory approvals.
