GAIL Plans LNG Bunkering Facility at India’s Kandla Port

India’s GAIL has signed a cooperation agreement with Deendayal Port Authority (DPA) and DNV to explore the development of an LNG bunkering facility at Kandla Port. The partners will assess LNG bunkering infrastructure, supply chains, safety requirements and the operational framework for the facility. The project would mark GAIL’s entry into LNG bunkering infrastructure and support the use of LNG as a marine fuel in India.
