Germany’s SEFE seals Argentina LNG deal

SEFE signed an eight-year SPA with Argentina’s Southern Energy for 2 mtpa of LNG on an FOB basis starting in late 2027, becoming Argentina’s first long-term LNG offtake partner. The volumes represent one-third of Southern Energy’s planned ~6 mtpa export capacity, which will be supplied by two FLNG units chartered from Golar LNG.
