Golden Pass LNG moving forward with commissioning activities

Golden Pass LNG, a joint venture between QatarEnergy and ExxonMobil, has received approval from the US FERC to begin commissioning its LNG systems at its Texas export facility. This includes commissioning the boil-off gas compression system, LNG storage, and liquefaction system. The facility, with a capacity of over 18 mtpa, is expected to start exporting LNG later this year, with the first train potentially producing LNG by the end of 2025.
