Honduras to launch first LNG-to-power project

Honduras is moving toward launch of its first LNG-to-power project after the second LNG cargo arrived at the Bilbao Knutsen FSU in Puerto Cortes. The GasLog Windsor, chartered by Centrica, delivered the cargo from Cheniere’s Sabine Pass terminal. Unlike the first commissioning cargo, this shipment should support the start of gas-fired power dispatch from the Brassavola plant. Centrica will supply about six LNG cargoes per year under its long-term SPA, feeding a plant set to expand from 150 MW to 240 MW.
