Ignitis books more regas capacity at Klaipeda FSRU
Ignitis booked an additional 2 TWh/year of regasification capacity at Lithuania’s Klaipeda LNG terminal for 2033–2044. This adds to the 4 TWh/year it secured last month, strengthening long-term gas supply flexibility in the Baltic region. Ignitis also launched a call for long-term US LNG supplies of up to 10 years, partly indexed to Henry Hub. Other firms including Gasum, Naftogaz, Latvenergo and Equinor also booked long-term Klaipeda capacity, lifting future terminal utilization to around 75% until 2044.
