INEOS becomes an LNG supplier

INEOS (a global chemicals and energy company) has entered into an eight-year LNG supply agreement with Covestro (a manufacturer of polymer materials) to provide stable natural gas for Covestro's European operations, starting in 2027. This deal strengthens INEOS's LNG supply chain, developed through its global LNG portfolio, including a previous 20-year agreement with Sempra Infrastructure for U.S. LNG.

QatarEnergy entered into a 20-year LNG SPA with Petronet LNG Limited for the supply of 7.5 MTPA of LNG. LNG will be delivered on a DES basis from May 2028.
