MOL inks deal with Tokyo Gas for wind-assisted LNG carrier
MOL has reached an agreement with Tokyo LNG Tanker, subsidiary of Tokyo Gas to install two Wind Challenger wind-assisted propulsion systems on a new LNG carrier, which will be under a long-term charter to TLT. This marks the second LNG carrier to use this system, following the delivery of two bulk carriers with similar technology, with seven more expected.
