No LNG carriers passed through Hormuz since July 11
No LNG carriers have transited the Strait of Hormuz since 11 July, according to Kpler, as regional security deteriorates following attacks on commercial vessels and renewed military exchanges between Iran and the United States. The disruption effectively suspends LNG movements through the only maritime export route for Qatar and a key shipping lane for UAE LNG exports. Kpler estimates that 21 LNG carriers remain inside the Middle East Gulf, while uncertainty over vessel movements continues to increase.
