Nordic Ren-Gas and avanca Sign Long-Term E-Methane Offtake Agreement

Finland's Nordic Ren-Gas and Switzerland's avanca have signed a €1 billion long-term agreement for the supply of e-methane produced at Ren-Gas's Tampere facility. The fuel will be distributed to heavy-duty truck operators through Alternoil's LNG distribution network in Germany. According to the companies, the agreement combines Finnish e-methane production with existing LNG infrastructure and is intended to establish a cross-border renewable e-methane supply chain in Europe.
