Petronas Gas and Integrax ink pact for new LNG import terminal

Petronas Gas and Integrax signed a HoA to jointly develop Malaysia’s first FSRU-based LNG import terminal in Lumut, Perak. The RGT-3 project will feature a 170,000-cbm FSRU with 500 MMscfd regasification sendout capacity. MISC will supply, operate and maintain the FSRU for 20 years, with startup expected in 2029 and full capacity underwritten from 2030. The terminal will be Malaysia’s third regas facility, after Petronas Gas’ Sungai Udang and Pengerang terminals.
