Poland expands LNG import terminal

Poland's Gaz-System expanded its Swinoujscie LNG terminal with a new jetty and third storage tank, increasing regasification capacity to 8.3 bcm per year. Orlen, a leading oil and gas company will play a significant role in Poland’s LNG imports, booking 6.2 bcm per year at Swinoujscie since 2022 and 6.1 bcm annually at the upcoming FSRU terminal in Gdansk.
