Port Arthur LNG Signs Additional Gas Supply Agreements
Sempra Infrastructure's Port Arthur LNG has signed three natural gas supply agreements with Vitol, Glencore and Sabine Energy, according to US Department of Energy filings. Under the agreements, Vitol will supply approximately 250,000 MMBtu/day and Glencore 50,000 MMBtu/day, both under three-year contracts. Sabine Energy will supply approximately 100,000 MMBtu/day from November 2027 to November 2030, with an option to extend the agreement by a further two years. The agreements support feedgas supply for Port Arthur LNG Phase 1, where the first liquefaction train is expected to begin commercial operations in 2027.
