Sempra Infrastructure, Jera seal 20-year LNG SPA

Sempra  Infrastructure has signed a 20-year SPA with Japan’s JERA to supply 1.5 MTPA  of LNG from its Port Arthur LNG Phase 2 project in Texas. This supports Sempra’s plans to reach FID on Phase 2 in 2025, expanding total capacity to  ~26 mtpa. Phase 1 is currently under construction with Bechtel targeting  start-up in 2027-28.
