Shell and PV Gas seal LNG supply deal

PV Gas signed a five-year DES LNG supply deal with Shell Eastern Trading for deliveries to Vietnam’s Thi Vai LNG terminal from 2027 to 2031. The contract covers about 0.4 mtpa and follows a tender in which Shell was selected as preferred supplier. PV Gas says this is Vietnam’s first fixed-term LNG purchase contract signed under international LNG market standards. The volumes will support Thi Vai’s role in supplying gas to the 1.6 GW Nhon Trach 3 and 4 LNG-fired power plants.
