Woodside, Jera seal winter LNG supply deal

Woodside has signed an LNG sales and purchase agreement with Japan’s Jera to supply approximately 0.2 million tonnes per year during Japan’s peak winter period for five years, commencing in 2027. The LNG will be sourced from Woodside’s global portfolio, including Scarborough, North West Shelf, Pluto LNG and Louisiana LNG, and the deal builds on a heads of agreement signed in June 2025 as well as earlier cooperation on the Scarborough project.
