Cheniere gets FERC approval for Corpus Christi LNG trains 8 and 9

Cheniere received US FERC approval to build two more midscale trains at its Corpus Christi LNG, trains 8 and 9, each with an expected liquefaction capacity of about 1.49 MTPA. According to FERC the trains 8 and 9 shall be constructed and made available for service within five years of the date of the order. Cheniere is authorized to site, construct, and operate the CCL midscale trains 8 and 9 subject to environmental conditions, in particular, appropriate mitigating measures.
