Cheniere has filed an application with FERC to build the Corpus Christi Stage 4 expansion, which includes four large-scale liquefaction trains with a combined capacity of up to 24 mtpa, two 220,000-cbm LNG storage tanks, and related infrastructure. Corpus Christi LNG currently operates three large-scale trains with a total capacity of about 15 mtpa, while the Stage 3 expansion includes seven midscale trains totaling about 10.4 mtpa, of which four are already operational and three are under construction or nearing completion, and Cheniere has also taken FID on two additional midscale trains (Trains 8 and 9) as part of a further expansion.
