Chevron Signs Long-Term Gas Supply Agreement with Alinta Energy

Chevron Australia has signed a five-year gas supply agreement with Alinta Energy, commencing in July 2027, to supply 46 petajoules of domestic natural gas from its Gorgon and Wheatstone LNG projects, as well as its share of the North West Shelf joint venture. According to Chevron, the agreement supports Western Australia's domestic gas market under the state's domestic gas policy, with Gorgon and Wheatstone together providing around 40% of the state's domestic gas supply.
