Construction Accident at Port Arthur Liquefaction Project

On April 29, 2025, a scaffolding collapse at the under-construction Port Arthur LNG facility in Texas resulted in the deaths of three Bechtel employees and injuries to two others. Bechtel (American engineering and construction company) immediately halted all site operations and is cooperating with local authorities and OSHA in the ongoing investigation.
