Delfin inks SPA with Centrica for second FLNG

Centrica signed a 20-year FOB LNG SPA with Delfin FLNG 2, becoming the first long-term buyer from Delfin’s planned second Louisiana FLNG unit. The deal covers 0.25 mtpa, with higher volumes in the first 15 years before stepping down for the final five years. It builds on Centrica’s FLNG 1 commitment, which was recently increased from 0.90 to 1.05 mtpa. Delfin took FID on its first $5 billion, 4.4 mtpa FLNG on June 3 and is targeting FIDs for FLNG 2 and 3 over the coming year.
