Edison receives first LNG cargo from Venture Global to Piombino FSRU

Edison, a unit of EDF, has received its first LNG cargo from Venture Global's Calcasieu Pass under a 20 year long-term contract, delivered to Snam’s FSRU terminal in Piombino, Italy. The deal provides Edison with 1.4 bcm/year of U.S. LNG. Despite this first delivery, Edison is still involved in arbitration with Venture Global over previous supply delays.
