Enagas and Axpo to put LNG bunkering newbuild into use in Spain
Enagás and Axpo have introduced the new LNG bunkering vessel Alisios LNG at the port of Huelva, Spain, where it will operate along the southern Iberian coast. The 12,500-cbm vessel will be supplied from the Huelva LNG terminal and will deliver LNG and bio-LNG as marine fuel to support maritime decarbonization. Built in China and delivered to Spain in February, the ship is part of Enagás’ expanding LNG bunkering fleet. Axpo will use the vessel under a charter agreement to supply LNG to gas-powered ships in the region.
