Equinor seals long-term LNG SPA with PTT

Equinor signed a long-term LNG SPA with PTT International Trading, strengthening its position as a global LNG portfolio player. No volumes, duration or start date were disclosed, but the deal supports PTT’s LNG supply diversification strategy. Equinor’s LNG portfolio is expanding beyond Hammerfest LNG, with Cheniere supply set to reach 3.5 mtpa and double its portfolio by 2030. PTT also signed a long-term LNG deal with GS Energy Trading Singapore, as it targets a 15 mtpa LNG portfolio by 2035.
