Gaz-System gives green light to second Gdansk FSRU terminal

Gaz-System confirmed a second FSRU terminal will be built in Gdansk Bay after four firms booked long-term regasification capacity. The first Gdansk FSRU is already under construction, with Orlen having booked its full 6.1 bcm/year capacity. For the second FSRU, demand exceeded the initial 39-slot offer, leading Gaz-System to raise planned capacity from 4.5 to 6.1 bcm/year. The second unit has 47 slots/year contracted for 2030–2039 and 35 slots/year for 2040–2044.
