Shell and Sunlink Take FID on HI Gas Project to Supply Nigeria LNG

Shell and Sunlink Energies and Resources have taken a final investment decision (FID) on the HI gas project offshore Nigeria, which will supply up to 350 million standard cubic feet of gas per day to Nigeria LNG’s Bonny Island plant. The joint venture is owned 60% by Sunlink and 40% by Shell’s Nigerian unit, SNEPCo. Production is expected to start before the end of the decade.
