Mozambique approves plans for two FSRU-based LNG terminals

Mozambique has granted a 30-year concession to state-owned partners to develop and operate two FSRU-based LNG import terminals at the Port of Beira and Inhassoro. According to the National Petroleum Regulator (INP), the decree also gives the partners exclusive rights to finance, construct, and operate the LNG terminals and the associated Mozambique–South Africa (Rompco) pipeline infrastructure.
