Mozambique LNG construction to restart after a halt

The Mozambique LNG project, is set to restart by July 2025 after being halted in 2021 due to terrorism-related force majeure. Key partners include Totalenergies, Japan's Mitsui, Mozambique's national oil comapny ENH, India's ONGC Videsh, Oil India, BPCL, and Thailand's PTTEP. The US EXIM Bank has reaffirmed its financing, and an FID is expected by December 2025, with completion targeted for July 2028.
