Pakistan launches spot LNG cargo tender

Pakistan LNG has launched a tender for three spot LNG cargoes of 140,000 cbm each, with deliveries scheduled between April 27 and May 14, 2026, as it tries to secure supply after disruption linked to the Middle East conflict. The cargoes would be delivered to terminals in Port Qasim, Karachi, while Pakistan continues to rely mainly on long-term Qatari imports and selective spot purchases when prices are manageable.
