Pakistan set to receive Qatari LNG cargo
Pakistan is set to receive a Qatari LNG cargo via the Strait of Hormuz, with Al Marrouna heading to Port Qasim after crossing the chokepoint with AIS on. The cargo was loaded at Ras Laffan facility and is expected to arrive in Pakistan on Friday. Several reports describe it as the first Qatari LNG shipment to transit Hormuz in weeks amid the Middle East conflict. Pakistan remains under supply pressure, with QatarEnergy force majeure reportedly extended to October and spot tenders facing high prices.
