Petronas Expands U.S. LNG Portfolio with Two Major Agreements

PETRONAS LNG Ltd. has signed a 20-year SPA with Commonwealth LNG to acquire 1 MTPA LNG from Commonwealth's planned 9.5 MTPA facility in Cameron, Louisiana. In a separate development, Woodside has entered into a non-binding HoA with PETRONAS to supply an additional 1 MTPA LNG for 15 years starting in 2028, potentially sourced from Woodside’s proposed Louisiana LNG project.
