Petronas, Shizuoka Gas seal LNG supply deal

Petronas LNG has signed a seven-year LNG sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Japan's Shizuoka Gas for the supply of approximately 0.84 million tonnes of LNG, with deliveries commencing in 2032. The agreement extends a  long-standing commercial relationship between the two companies, marking 30  years since Petronas delivered its first LNG cargo to Shizuoka Gas in 1996.  According to Petronas, the new SPA will provide supply flexibility and  reliability, while both companies will also explore collaboration on  decarbonization initiatives along the LNG value chain.
