PetroVietnam Gas seeks new spot LNG cargo

PV Gas has launched a tender for 3.2 million MMBtu spot LNG cargo for delivery to the Thi Vai terminal between April 20 and May 14, with bids due on April 1. The tender follows a March spot cargo tender and comes after PV Gas awarded its first-ever five-year LNG supply deal to a Shell subsidiary in 2025. PV Gas also received its first LNG cargo of 2026 from Qatar in March, just before disruptions at QatarEnergy’s Ras Laffan complex led to force majeure on some LNG contracts.
