Sempra Infrastructure and Petrobras ink 20-year Port Arthur LNG SPA

Petrobras signed a 20-year SPA with Sempra Infrastructure for 0.8 mtpa of LNG from Port Arthur LNG Phase 2. The deal makes Petrobras Sempra Infrastructure’s first South American LNG customer. Port Arthur Phase 2, already sanctioned, will add Trains 3 and 4, with start-up expected in 2030–2031. Together with Phase 1, Port Arthur LNG will reach about 26 mtpa, while Sempra is also studying a further 27 mtpa expansion.
