Shell, Hapag-Lloyd seal bio-LNG bunkering deal

Hapag-Lloyd  and Shell have launched a multi-year off-take contract for the supply of  liquefied biomethane (bio-LNG) through Shell’s global bunkering network. The deal secures renewable marine fuel for Hapag-Lloyd’s dual-fuel ships,  enabling significant emissions cuts without vessel modifications and  advancing its decarbonisation strategy.
