Shell signs 0.4 MTPA SPA for 5 years with PetroVietnam Gas

PV Gas, a subsidiary of Vietnam’s NOC PetroVietnam, has awarded Shell a five-year LNG supply contract for 20.7 TBtu (around 0.4 MMtpa), with deliveries to the Thi Vai LNG terminal starting in 2027 on a DES basis. The volumes are intended to supply LNG-fired power generation, including the Nhon Trach power plant units operated by PV Power, which have just entered commissioning.
