Italy’s Eni prepares second Congo LNG floating plant

Eni has launched the hull of its 2.4 mtpa Nguya FLNG at Wison Shipyard in China, set to operate offshore the Republic of Congo. This will complement the existing 0.6 mtpa Tango FLNG, bringing Congo's total LNG output to 3 mtpa by 2025. The Nguya FLNG is 80% complete. Eni will market all LNG produced from the project, which officially made Congo an LNG producer in March 2024.
