TotalEnergies and CMA CGM to Launch LNG Bunkering JV

TotalEnergies and CMA CGM have agreed to form a 50/50 joint venture to develop and operate LNG bunkering logistics at the Port of Rotterdam by 2028. The JV will deploy a new 20,000 m³ LNG bunker vessel, complementing TotalEnergies’ existing Gas Agility operations, to supply LNG to CMA CGM’s growing dual-fuel fleet and other operators in the ARA region. Under a long-term supply deal, TotalEnergies will provide up to 360,000 tons of LNG annually from 2028 to 2040.
