Venture Global files to more than double Plaquemines LNG capacity

Venture Global has applied to US FERC and DOE to permit a major brownfield expansion at Plaquemines LNG, adding over 30 mtpa across 32 modular trains. The plan raises the site’s total peak capacity to more than 58 mtpa, driven by stronger market demand and train optimization. The company said timelines for Phase 1 and Phase 2 remain unchanged.
