Venture Global seals 20-year LNG SPA with Hanwha Aerospace

Venture Global signed a 20-year SPA with Hanwha Aerospace for 1.5 mtpa of LNG starting in 2030, marking Venture Global’s first long-term LNG supply deal in South Korea and bringing its total contracted portfolio to over 46 mtpa. The deal also represents Hanwha Aerospace’s entry into LNG distribution, while Hanwha Group is expanding its LNG presence through a 22.7% stake in US developer NextDecade (Rio Grande LNG) and an MoU with Fermeuse Energy to develop a planned LNG export project in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada.
