Venture Global signs 20-year, 1 MTPA LNG deal with Spain’s Naturgy

Venture Global LNG has signed a 20-year sales and purchase agreement with Spain’s Naturgy for 1 MTPA of LNG starting in 2030, marking Spain’s first long-term US LNG contract since 2018. The volumes will come from the planned second phase of Venture Global’s CP2 LNG project in Louisiana, with FID expected in the first half of 2026.
