Venture Global’s Plaquemines LNG Granted FERC Extension

Venture Global LNG has received approval from the US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to extend the in-service deadline for its Plaquemines LNG terminal in Louisiana to December 31, 2027. The company had requested a 15-month extension citing extenuating circumstances. Phase 1 of the project (13.3 MTPA) is now expected online in late 2026, followed by Phase 2 in mid-2027.
